Joe Shaw is an owner of The Prep Kitchen. He serves as a mentor, coach, and nutritionist for a broad range of lifestyle and fitness clientele. His company, Fit by J, LLC, was formed to guide others toward a healthier and sustainable lifestyle approach to nutrition. He specializes in helping his clientele reach their goals, while enhancing and improving their quality of life.

With over 12 years of in-person and online coaching experience, Joe has obtained the Cooper Institute’s Nutrition for Health and Fitness Certification. He is an MSAN candidate (Master’s of Science in Applied Nutrition) from the University of New England. He also has a Marketing degree from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Besides coaching, researching, competing, training and fitness modeling, Joe has over six years of experience in the technology and mobile application sector for start-ups.

Joe’s future goals include writing a sustainable nutrition and fitness e-book with science-based nutritional recommendations that help guide individuals to make lasting progress.
